About Me

I am a commission based pastel artist specialising in pet portraits. I use the highest quality art materials and love working with clients to create a portrait they will love. I pour my heart and soul into my work and pay special attention to capturing even the smallest details. I love exaggerating the subtle tones, colours and shades I see to create a rich depth to my work.

In addition to pet portraits I enjoy creating my own range of original artwork. I am inspired by the beauty of the farm I grew up on and the woodlands that surround me, hence the name Furrow and Fern. My wish is to portray a sense of the magic of nature and connection I feel there through my art. Creating these works feels like a meditation for me and my hope is that the calmness I feel whilst drawing these beautiful subjects is transferred to the viewer and they are able to share that peace.
